The emergence of some cross species interactions at protein level are the modulations that bring out parasitic diseases. The work aimed to infer cross species interactions to outline the disease model and understand the similarities and differences among the systems.
The inferred models not only confirmed the known interactions, but also proposed some new possible ‘disease-pathways’ from the inter-species interaction maps. Mapping the drug-protein networks
for diseases allowed to detect the sparse region in the pharmacome leading a rationale based prediction of possible drug targets. The work thus delineated the methodology to model mutlicomponent biological systems at protein interaction level and drug level.
